How do I takes notes?
How to Take “Notes” For Your Biology Homework…
In addition to reading each chapter assigned….please include all titles, headings, and subheadings in your notebook, as well as numbering the chapters and sections, such as Chapter 1, section 1 (1.1). Within those subheadings under each section, please write out the following:
· Answer key concepts (bold sentences with blue and white keys next to them)
· Define all vocabulary words (highlight and/or underline the words)
· Answer all checkpoint questions (labeled as "in Your Notebook" throughout all sections) - extra for all
· Any important pictures, diagrams, charts and time-lines that are pointed out to you by me should also be included in notes.
I will also offer an alternative way to do your notes. Vocabulary is VERY important!!!!
Extra credit!
All levels, you may do the section assessment questions at the end of each section for extra credit, if all of your regular notes are done. CP1 + 2 - Pictures, time-lines, and diagrams/charts, as well as reading checkpoints in the homework are extra credit! More extra credit opportunities to follow…..
